International Discus Competition 2003, Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) |

|
Though there
are numerous participants from Singapore and Malaysia, we are the
only fortunate Singaporean that squeezed in between all the Malaysian
winners with this Scarlet Spotted (Leopard Snakeskin) in the 2nd
placing of the
‘Spotted Category’. At that point of time, this Scarlet
Spotted is only mere 10 months old. |

6th
National Discus Competition 2003, Singapore
This is the event that all Discus breeders/hobbyists in Singapore
look forward to…Our efforts had been paid off generously after
securing all the awards in the ‘Spotted Category’. Best
of all, our Crimson Spotted had swam ahead of the entire participating
discus and was awarded
the ‘Grand Champion’! |

Our ‘Grand
Champion’ and the 1st placing winner in the Spotted Category.
18 months of intense effort in cultivating this ‘Champion’
had finally been recognized by the three foreign judges. Notice
the fine spots and the intense color that stand out from the yellow
body base in this Crimson Spotted (Spotted Snakeskin). |

This is our
Scarlet Spotted (Leopard Snakeskin), the 2nd placing winner in the
same category. The same bloodline as the Kuala Lumpur winner. This
strain of ours possess an exceptionally high body with ‘crazily’
distributed spots and rings pattern… |

This Scarlet
Spotted (Leopard Snakeskin) came in 3rd placing. However, it is
rather shy in front of the photographer and audiences… |

Aquarama
2003 International Fish Competition
Every fish fanatic knows that this is the biggest event dedicated
to Aquaculture Industry held in Singapore once every two years.
With supports and participations from world wide, this major event
had again expanded to accommodate more participants. There, the
International Fish Competition is the main attraction to both Foreigners
and Singaporean. With 180 tanks of Discus competing
to be the 'Best of the Best', I'll say that the
standard is relatively high. |

Again, our
Scarlet Spotted (Leopard Snakeskin) had written its name in the
history of this year Aquarama 2003 with 'Lady Luck' by its side.
Being awarded the 1st placing and crowned as the
Grand Champion by three reknown judges, namely,
Mr Jack Wattley (USA), Mr Ho Wi Fang (Singapore) and Miss Werappan
(Thailand), I'll say that me and my partner's hardwork had been
recognized. This prestigious title has once again define the need
for us to continue to work even harder for a better Spotted form
in the near future. We hope that we'll be able to satisfy all Discus
hobbyists world wide with the best Spotted varieties. |
